Operations Manager

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the company’s commercial operations including but not restricted to contracts execution & warehouse management and supply chain logistics to support local trading & distribution business.
• Monitor schedules for upcoming shipments of bulk commodities and containers vessels.
• Manage every step of the importing process, including customs clearance, quarantine inspections, compulsory inspection and other documentary/regulatory requirements
• Coordinate domestic logistics and movement of goods for and within the Thailand market.
• Assist and advise management and/or commercial team of any potential risk exposure relating to execution of contracts.
• Liaise with suppliers, sellers and buyers, ports, ship agents, logistics companies, inspection companies, insurance companies, third-party service providers and concerned parties on logistics and operation matters.
• Maintain contracts/vessel files for audit/tax/legal/customs purposes and keep records of all commercial activities, documenting procedures, guidelines, and changes in procedures for records.

Your Profile

• Minimum of six years of experience in trade execution.
• Sound understanding of trade terms & practices including Gafta, Incoterms.
• Working knowledge and experience of importing agricultural commodities into Thailand.
• Working knowledge and experience of Thailand domestic logistics.
• Experience in warehouse inventory management of agricultural commodities
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to excel within a fast-pace work environment.
• Proven ability to assess risk and exercise sound judgment in making decisions and solving problems.
• Proven ability to work within a team-based work environment, focused on transparent communication.
• Meticulous.
