    Senior HR Specialist

    Position Details

    Responsibilities

    HRM Tasks:

    • Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
    • Provide counseling on policies and procedures.
    • Actively participate in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
    • Assist in managing disciplinary and grievance issues.
    • Support performance management processes.
    • Undertake other ad hoc assignments as directed by the Country HR Manager.

    Training & Development:

    • Ensure mandatory corporate programs are implemented effectively, including Code of Conduct and Orientation programs.
    • Develop and maintain employee skill development programs to ensure competency and skill enhancement.
    • Assist the Country HR Manager with talent management programs.
    • Update and maintain employee records (training, attendance, leave, etc.) in accordance with policy and legal requirements.

    Payroll and Time Attendance:

    • Oversee the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and consistency in time attendance, overtime, and payment processes.
    • Review, analyze, and reconcile payroll and related data.
    • Manage benefits programs including Provident Fund, Social Security Fund, Workmen Compensation, Tax, Life, and Medical insurance.
    • Act as the primary contact for payroll vendors for Evonik Group in Thailand.
    • Ensure accuracy in Government reports such as Social Security and Workmen Compensation.

    Employee Related Matters:

    • Provide employee services for personal and confidential information requests, such as bank certificates and visa letters.
    • Assist with medical insurance claims and maintain related records.
    • Schedule and manage medical check-ups.
    • Maintain contact with employees and inform management of employee concerns.
    • Coordinate and arrange Employee Skill Development (ESK) programs for new employees.
    • Assist in managing employee queries.

    Government Reports:

    • Assist and support the Country HR Manager with government-required reports and inquiries.

    Administration Tasks:

    • Coordinate and assist expatriates with work permits, visas, accommodation, and reimbursement of related expenses.
    • Organize company functions and activities, such as New Year parties and Family Day.
    • Manage coordination with sub-contractors (KRS) and other vendors regarding employee benefits like uniforms.

    Outsourcing Employees:

    • Handle and coordinate with vendors regarding support services, including wages, insurance, and disciplinary matters.


    Requirements:

    • Degree in HR Management, Political Science, Psychology, or related field; higher qualifications are a plus.
    • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with HR Shared Services experience preferred.
    • Knowledge of HR functions including pay & benefits, recruitment, training, and development.
    • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
    • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Thai.
    • Skilled in MS Office; experience with SAP and Workday is advantageous.
    • Strong ethics and reliability.
    • Proactive, initiative-driven, with good analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Possess a "can-do" attitude, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong commitment to delivering results.
