Manage the projects in a structured and professional manner according to Scrum methodology,the Scrum Master will co-ordinate and plan all Scrum ceremonies and ensure the agile process being followed
Leading the planning and execution of development and delivery of each release of one or more products to a high standard
Promoting and assuring use of the agreed agile methodologies and tools.
Fulfill key strategic responsibilities within agreed timelines, budgets and delegated authority
Support of the Product Owner in refining and grooming the Product Backlog to a level which is acceptable for to estimate the level of effort and to deliver
Analyze requirements and define the most efficient/appropriate solutions
Responsible for being the coordinator and fixer of all issues and ensuring the team a level which is acceptable for to estimate the level of effort and to deliver can deliver with minimal blockers
Help drive continual improvement and innovation in the platform and application development process
Responsible for tracking team progress through backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, etc.
Be an effective communicator and organizer
Qualification
A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience as a Scrum Manager in a client facing position, preferably in the Insurance or financial services industries
CSM qualified is a plus
Solid estimating and forecasting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal and stakeholder management skills: working with product owners, stakeholders, and senior management
Proven track-record of successful project delivery for large, complex projects
Experience in the development process for customer-facing applications
Experience with technical project teams and technical consultants such as Developers and Architects
knowledge of quality management and application of quality principles in projects, code, and product quality management
Comfort with the project management tools like Jira
Significant experience working in software product development
Strong track record achievement of success in a leadership role
Broad and deep knowledge of software development process and practice, including agile methods
Strong programming and testing ability in one or more common technology stacks
Understanding of risk management and practices of software security
