Project Director

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:

• Lead and manage logistics projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.

Strategic Planning:

• Formulate logistics strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
• Collaborate with senior management to define project scope and objectives.

Operational Excellence:

• Optimize logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Implement best practices and industry standards to improve logistics performance.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a high-performing project team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews to ensure alignment and accountability.

Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to support project objectives.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
• Track project expenses and report financial performance to senior management.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in logistics project management, with a track record of successful project delivery for 5 years and more.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Good communication in English or Chinese language
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of logistics industry trends and best practices.
