    Position Details

    Job Description

    1) Corporate Branding Communications:

    • Work closely with Chememan top management and Corporate Strategy team to develop strategic branding communication frameworks and strategies that are fully aligned with the business strategies
    • Initiate, develop and execute communication concepts and programs to communicate to public, customers, and stakeholders through strategic channels to maximize the company’s brand messages, positive reputation and visibility in all aspects, and ensure that those key messages are well-conceived by targeted audiences
    • Create and control budget on overall communications program with clear stated aims and objectives, a defined strategy and ROI and specific program of activity in the following areas:
    • Internal Communications
    • External Communications
    • Public/Community/Media Relations
    • Customer Relations
    • Issue/Crisis management
    • Monitor the effectiveness of communications/PR campaigns, define key targets and quality metrics for each initiative, review and evaluate results upon completion of the activities and modify the action plan as required against achievement and against changing corporate aims.
    • Research, identify, select and collaborate with external vendors and agencies as well as define quality and delivery targets for externally assigned activities, monitoring ongoing progress, and resolving issues.
    • Develop content and lead activities implementation including website, social media, offline & online activities to ensure maximum brand direction and exposure
    • Lead and supervise corporate communication team
    • Handle ad-hoc assignments as assigned by the management team

    2) Internal Communications:

    • Create and develop internal communications strategies, ensure consistency of brand core values identity and message, and execute initiatives to engage internal stakeholders
    • Create strategy for employee engagement to meet the purposes of culture building, pride and moral boost-up
    • Initiate and deploying innovative ideas for delivering content through a multi-channel option
    • Optimize digital communication channels and implementing creative internal communication tactics to effectively engage with employees locally and internationally
    • Lead, manage and execute CEO communication by developing communication plan, design message to communicate on strategic company direction, assess market and company sentiment as well as advise effective and inspiring CEO communication strategy
    • Co-create a communication theme or message house with other BU strategic initiatives such as Corporate Strategy, CSR, HR, etc.
    • Give advice and support on Employer Branding and Employee Value Propositions design and executions
    • Provide key content or key talking points for C-level message/memo as well as develop and review slide in Townhall
    • Give advice for key content, storyline including communication channel for HR communication such as Core Values, COVID measure, WFH guideline, Impact assessment, etc
    • Be a part of integrated working team led by CS to position Chememan as employer of choice; understand how modernization affects workplace and new landscape of workforce management, advise strategy and tactics to amplify HR’s initiatives internally & externally and support HR campaigns targeting employees
    • Provide key content or key talking points for C-level message/memo as well as develop and review slide in Townhall

    Qualification

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in internal communication, corporate communication and strategic communication
    • Deep understanding of corporate brand strategy, positioning, and segmentation for internal and external audiences.
    • Ability to build deep relationships and networks with key media, decision makers, and influencers
    • Strong media relations with leading traditional and online media outlets
    • Stakeholder management skills and the aptitude to effectively manage and leverage stakeholders.
    • An autonomous working style with excellent planning and project management skills.
    • A history of delivering against a team or organization’s goals.
    • A track record in building trusted, credible partnerships.
    • The ability to be proactive and taking the initiative while navigating change and challenges.

    Additional Preference

    • Familiarity with employer branding, recruitment processes, recruitment systems, and platforms would be beneficial, but we can help with that if you haven’t worked in these areas before.
    • Some regional or global experience would be beneficial, but not required.
