Job Summary:
Digital control engineer is responsible for developing control algorithm/coding to ensure the robustness of On Board Charger (OBC) as PFC and high efficiency power converter (AC/DC, DC/DC) in automotive EV. Candidate will have opportunity to work closely with world class Automotive customers from Europe and Japan.

Major responsibility:
Working with power electronics engineer to model power converter and develop control algorithm to ensure the proper operation of PFC and power converter.
Create closed loop/open loop model in Simulink & validate model in Simulink software
Convert model into MISRA C Code, and debug
Troubleshoot power converter together with power electronics engineer including technical documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering with good circuit analysis skill, preferred Master’s Degree in power electronics industry. Experienced from automotive industry is a plus.
Skills:
Strong technical background in the field of:
Basic Control Theory and fundamental of electronics circuit
Digital control implementation on Texas Instrument platform or Infineon Tricore secure and safety platform.
MISRA C language
Power Electronics background is a plus
Familiar with Model Based Design/Simulink
Verbal and written communications skills
Professional working attitude, high responsibility and good teamwork, Eager to learn new things & technology: most important
Familiar with Automotive development V-Model and Automotive CI/CD consider as a plus.
Familiar with Texas Instrument CLA concept and Texas Instrument ISO 26262 software development safety is a plus
Familiar with Matlab-Simulink AUTOSAR blockset is a plus
