Manager, Product Standard & Compliance

Key duties:

Product Verification

• Communicate and align closely with Design HQ regarding technical aspect concerned with new product development including alternative proposes
• Verify Design Samples from Product Masters to confirm manufacturing capabilities before handover to Pre-production
• Ensure quality and design intention approval for all red / yellow / green tag samples
• Coordinate initial tolerance chart for new products with close collaboration with Quality
• Set up the Standard Guideline for new product and ensure the Standard have been appropriately implemented
• Evaluate and decide on which alternative manufacturing capability (plastic injection, stamping, etc.) is to be used for new product development
• Interpret material requirements and be a part of supplier selection to source new material
• Sign-off on engineering change requests during pre-production based on design approval

Product Testing

• Ensure the proper testing for new products/materials have been conducted before Product Launching
• Communicate risk associated based on new material evaluation
• Provide RMA score based on product reference to every new Product Development
• Make early call-outs on high-risk designs base on reference RMA score or initial testing result before Gate 1
• Coordinate closely with legal HQ on product counterfeit control
• Ensure correct Product information for New Product Development have been aligned

OEM & ODM Product Package Management

• Coordinate with OEM/ODM contract team on new products development with suppliers and existing products move to outsource production
• Provide input and participate in Make / Buy decision with Prototyping based on PPT capacity for I&PD development and manufacturing complexity of upcoming Cycle
• Be a part of supplier selection to source new SKU for OEM/ODM/outsourcing
• Verify Design Samples from suppliers to ensure they meet Design Requirement and comply with Pandora Standard Product

Others

• Evaluate cost associated with HQ requested deviations from established process / SLAs
• Propose cost alternative to be an option for Target Margin achievement
• Involve and support any new requirement of Product Development Before Gate 0
• Guidance to develop new Murano Glass Design for every new Design Requirement
• Ensure effective cross-functional communication and share best practices across all departments where relevant
• Involve in reducing I&PD process lead time where possible
