Key Responsibility:
Being the product champion for Electronic & IOT Business area, leading by example with passion and creativity
Delivering category plans, shaping the short-term & long-term strategy; forward thinking & delivering for our customers
Leading category to be integral from initial concept & enabling collaboration across the wider business
Continually reviewing category performance to improve the customer offer and reduce cost
Leading the teams to deliver financial targets, accurate sales and quantum profit budgets for the category
Supporting the category strategy review process and strategic change programmes, translating the strategy into clear plans for team to drive category growth
Working with Product, Supply Chain and Operation teams to deliver continuous improvements, great service levels
Developing and driving new business model/channel to accelerate category growth
Ensuring team to have great product availability for our customers and simplify the operation processes where possible
Encouraging team to build long term supplier relationships, improving the trading position in a sustainable way and oversee the selling and buying plan ensuring there is supplier strategy to meet the total category plan
Leading or supporting complex negotiations by my buying team meeting regularly with our supply base
Challenging team to create great customer focused ranges and product innovation across all formats, channels and affluence levels, supported by the right sourcing plan
Reviewing and responding to weekly trading results and competitor actions, ensuring price is competitive for our customers and profitable
Supporting the category trade and events plan with market leading, customer insight driven promotions and events
Forecasting and managing budgets effectively, always being cost conscious and Stock monitoring/Improve customer working collaboration
Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
Coaching and developing team to deliver their performance and ensure a strong talent pipeline
Developing and leading a high performing team, giving them the opportunities to be their best to achieve KPIs and improve the category for customers
Qualifications:
7-10 years of related work experience in commercial with extensive experience in Retail Business/General Merchandise would be preferable
Bachelors' degree or higher
Familiar with Electronics business management, high complexity and fast paced environment
Strong process orientation and scalable solutions to complex problems
Strong leadership skill and high resilience
Negotiation, Supplier management, Stakeholder management, Data analysis and Leadership skills
Category Management and Commercial Acumen as well as developing Category Strategy
Experience in working cross functionally to deliver step change projects
Leading a team to strategically achieve business targets
