Key Responsibilities
Compensation and Benefits Strategy Development (BSAPIC Project):
- Align and launch compensation and benefit initiatives in accordance with the strategic direction provided by the Singapore Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
- Assist group companies in harmonizing compensation and benefits programs.
- Compensation and Benefits System Oversight:
- Manage and refine the compensation and benefits system, which includes performance management, salary structure development, and employee benefits and welfare.
- Design and implement compensation and benefit policies and procedures aimed at attracting and retaining top talent.
- Effectively communicate compensation and benefit policies across the organization
Salary Structure and Compensation Analysis:
- Engage in salary surveys, job evaluations, job classifications, and grading.
- Ensure competitive compensation practices in alignment with market standards.
- HR Information System (HRIS) Implementation:
- Lead the successful implementation of HRIS projects focusing on payroll processing, time attendance systems, and benefits reimbursement.
- Promote and support the adoption of HRIS software within the organization.
- Ensure timely project execution and launch the Employee Self-Service module to all employees.
Labor Cost Management:
- Regularly update the salary structure and compensation elements to monitor and control labor costs.
- Align updates with the company’s strategic direction and collective agreements.
- Analyze and strategize labor costs to enhance financial efficiency.
- General HR Administration and Support:
- Provide expert advice on payroll-related issues.
- Explore and implement new technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy in HR tasks.
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management within designated timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, social science, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in compensation and benefits, or a similar role within Human Resources.
- Proven track record of managing compensation and benefits programs in a multinational corporation.
- Experience in HRIS implementation and management.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills to manage financial records and budgets effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with employees and senior management
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (TOEIC score of 700 or equivalent).
- Ability to lead projects, manage timelines, and work collaboratively across departments.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international employment laws, compensation strategies, and benefits administration.
- Familiarity with job evaluation techniques and pay structure design.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
