Senior Lead, Operational Excellence

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze (often ambiguous, unstructured) operational and business problems to identify areas for commercial growth, efficiency gains, and cost reduction
• Use data analytics and business intelligence to uncover trends, drive decision-making, and identify growth opportunities
• Collaborate with Country Directors, Marketing, Product, and Finance teams to understand their needs and align operational strategies to support commercial goals
• Develop and execute to completion complex improvement initiatives to realize commercial uplifts
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Commercial, Product, Marketing, and Finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of improvement projects
• Create and maintain documentation related to operational processes and improvements
• Present findings and recommendations to senior management, providing clear and concise reports
• Act as a versatile resource within our Agoda Flight team, establishing yourself as a trusted expert that all departments can depend on

What you will need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience in operational excellence, business analysis, or a similar role focused on commercial growth
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and/or business intelligence tools, with a track record of using data to drive commercial outcomes
• Strong problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset, able to connect operational changes to business results
• Ability to make sense of complex operational processes, internal technical processes and flows and connect the dot back to commercial impact
• Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex concepts and present progresses, findings to stakeholders at all levels
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with teams across the organization
• Ability to learn fast and understand new business dynamics
