    Head of Sales (Thailand, Myanmar & Laos)

    Position Details

    Key Accountabilities

    • Develop and enhance the sales process to increase sales performance and productivity in Thailand, Myanmar & Laos.
    • Build and lead the Thailand, Myanmar & Laos sales team, ensuring they are aligned with the overall business performance and goals for the SEA Cluster.
    • Formulate and execute business development and sales strategies to generate new business relationships and clients.
    • Collaborate and leverage relationships with external partners, cross-functional teams, and sales operations to provide pre and post-sales support/solutions to BCOs (Beneficial Cargo Owners).
    • Develop a deep understanding of customers' businesses and identify commercial opportunities in the geographic coverage.
    • Work closely with the Commercial SEA team to execute sales strategies for new account management. This includes setting business development targets, objectives, and key results (OKRs), as well as budgeting and KPI (Key Performance Indicator) implementation.
    • Build, manage, and extend relationships with key BCOs in the region to achieve OKRs and KPIs.
    • Monitor performance of strategic plans and evaluate successes, risks and opportunities and formulate action plans to address them.
    • Contribute to the formulation and implementation of DP World's overall sales strategy for the region with the aim of enhancing the P&L (Profit and Loss).
    • Manage relationships across the logistics value chain within the geographic coverage, to ensure a seamless customer experience. These responsibilities will help drive sales growth, develop strong relationships with customers, and contribute to the overall success of DP World in Thailand, Myanmar & Laos.


    Qualifications, Skills and Experience

    • Tertiary qualifications preferably in Business Administration, Shipping / Logistics Management, or equivalent disciplines.
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in business development/sales/account management from freight-forwarding and/or logistics company.
    • Good experience in working in customer-centric environment (Agile experience is a plus).
    • A strong background in managing BCOs and a successful history of establishing and nurturing enduring, high-quality relationships.
    • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
