Data Governance Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Lead on data strategy development: Develop and implementing a data governance framework and strategy to align with business goal and regulatory requirements
• Manage data policies and standards: Ensure data access is controlled, data privacy is maintained and ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to data management
• Data compliance and audit: Being management representative to ensure organization adhere to data governance policies and standards through regular audits and assessment
• Data training and awareness: Educate organization on related policies and standards
• Provide regular report to management on the state of data governance initiatives, issues, compliance and status
• Work within technology and group to design and implement data architecture to support data governance objective
• Collaborate with DPO to align way of work

Qualification:

• At least 5 Years experience in Data Management – Proficiency in data management practices including data governance, data security, data privacy and data breach management
• Legal and Compliance background in order to interpret and apply data protection law requires
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and related group
• Ability to translate from governance view to operation
• Strong problem-solving skills by able to provide solution practical solutions in case data protection issue happen
• Strategic thinking in order to align data protection into business goals
• At least 3 years’ experience in PMO position
• Preferred Prince II and PMI certified
• Have experience in various types of project life cycle such as agile, waterfall and etc.
• Have experience as project manager is preferred
• Flexibility and be able to work under pressure
• Strong problem solving
