Position Details
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive distribution & retail strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
Distribution Network Management: Oversee the management and expansion of distribution networks, including distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and logistics partners.
Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products/services and customer experience while minimizing costs.
Performance Analysis: Monitor KPIs, analyze performance metrics, and implement improvements to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Inventory Management: Collaborate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal inventory levels across distribution channels.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, negotiate agreements, and resolve any issues or disputes that may arise. Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to the distribution & retail team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Identify and mitigate potential risks.
Technology Utilization: Leverage technology solutions and systems to streamline processes, improve visibility, and enhance decision-making.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities for expansion and growth.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with overall financial objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, marketing, D2C, Media and supply chain to align strategies with overall business objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Development, Supply Chain, or a related field.
5-7 years of experience in the FMCG industry, with a strong focus on the mom and baby sector or premium products.
Proven track record of driving growth in wholesale channels and managing distribution networks.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of wholesale and distribution initiatives.
Commercial acumen with a deep understanding of the wholesale market dynamics.
Base salary + commission.
