Technical Solutions Architect

Job Description:

• Understand business requirements and be able to translate them into technical requirements.
• Application design with standard IT Architect.
• Trouble shooting and problem solving to support banking service/operation.
• Work very closely with Project Manager, Application Team and other stakeholders to define the solution architect.
• Responsible to do impact analysis of requirements that make changes to existing products or create new software products.
• Lead Solution Architect, technical design activities and review the designs to ensure the performance, scalability, maintainability, appropriate re-usability, cost and ensure that solutions follow best practices.
• Deliver documentation (Solution Architect, Sequence Diagram etc.) and Technology Stack for business and development team.
• Research new and emerging technologies, lead technology evaluations and provide technical advice to management and apply to KSC IT Architecture.
• Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers, partners, and potential clients.
• Good understanding of the Cloud architect and good architect framework and be able to do a cloud solution design by understanding the software architecture.
• Provide consultative support to Solution Architects/Leaders and deal teams.
• Collaborate with software development teams to resolve technical challenges, make recommendations on improving performance, reliability and scalability of solution.
• Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to developers.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years in technology consulting area, or solution design or solution architect/ technical design
• Good knowledge in Cloud/On Premise architecture as the following: operating system, networking, cloud storage, security, service selection and especially on AWS cloud platform.
• Understand in software Architecture such as SOA, Microservices design skills
• Familiar to Agile and Waterfall working model.
• Broad understanding of coding and programming languages
• Experience with database design and data modeling
• Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies
• Excellent understanding of design patterns and architectural styles
• Solid understanding of a variety of programming tools and development platforms
• Experience with Source code control management, CI/CD Pipeline, and Container
• Knowledge of banking products or the Banking Industry would be advantageous.
