Senior Business Analyst

About the job

• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their business goals and objectives.
• Translate business goals into technical requirements and propose the most efficient and effective solutions.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of the business process and system analysis principles to aid in re-engineering processes, streamlining workflow, and ensuring the best use of resources.
• Define, document, and execute system tests, integrating new applications with existing systems. You will need to create a user story with our project manager or product owner for our development team. This may include basic database design, system design, and/or basic cloud/infrastructure design by working with our Data Engineer.
• Assist in developing and maintaining system design documentation and guidelines.
• Work closely with the development team to oversee the delivery of ongoing system enhancements and upgrades.
• Manage and prioritize IT system needs and effectively communicate these needs to senior stakeholders.
• Provide end-user training on new systems and updates.
• Ensure compliance with all company information security policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Master in IT, CS, CE, or MIS/MBA is preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years experience in business analysis with a strong exposure to IT systems.
• Experience in analyzing, implementing, and improving IT business processes.
• Proficiency in project management and business/systems analysis methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, both in English and Thai.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of data modeling and design techniques, along with a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, is a plus.
• Knowledge of data technology and AI is a plus
• Travel may be required mostly in the Bangkok area
