Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth in the country.
Drive countries to collect different data – retailer data , promoter data , display data , etc
Generate regular reports and dashboards to track key sales metrics, including revenue, unit sales, market share, and profitability.
Use multiple data sources to analyze, track, interpret and make clear and concise recommendations on action plans for the Sales and Trade Ops teams to drive sell-out across all product categories
Apply expertise in quantitative and qualitative analysis to synthesize trends and be able to tell the story behind the numbers
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand consumer preferences, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to develop sales forecasts, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Provide recommendations for optimizing product assortment, inventory management, and distribution channels based on data-driven insights.
Support sales team with data-driven decision-making, including customer segmentation, targeting, and territory management.
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains within the sales operations through data analysis and automation.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in clear and concise reports, presentations, and verbal communication.
Qualifications:
You should have a bachelor’s degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance, or a related field
Fluent in English (oral and written)
Advanced MS Office skills, with distinct Excel. SQL expertise
Proven experience with advanced Excel functions, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, and conditional formatting.
Proficiency in creating and managing macros using VBA for process automation.
Skilled in using advanced formulas for data analysis and decision-making (e.g., array formulas, nested IF statements, and data validation techniques).
Experience in creating dynamic and visually compelling dashboards using Excel (e.g., slicers, interactive charts).
Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau to transform data into actionable insights (preferred but not mandatory).
Optional skills are a plus: Digital analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), Coding: Python/R/JavaScript, Experience with data science projects.
Statistical Analysis : Ability to apply statistical methods to analyze and interpret data, providing meaningful insights for business decisions.
