Local Material Planner

In detail, you will:

• Plan and buy components at the right price, quality and quantity and at the right time
• Manage relationships with existing suppliers
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers to cover quality, quantity and delivery
• Keep up to date with production plan and reacting to changes in demand
• Monitor stock value stock turn day and outstanding orders
• Liaise with colleagues in discrepancy of shipping/packing and non-conforming parts to suppliers
• Prepare reports and attend meetings with supervisors
• Optimize transportation cost and analyzing freight cost
• Plan and buy components follow ECN&ECR project

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics and or other related fields
• 2-3 years of work experience in production planning and materials planning
• Good understanding and knowledge of the components being purchased
• Good import/export business skills with commercial mindset
• Creative, determined, well organized, and able to work as a team
• Able to make a good decision and work under pressure
• Good negotiation skills and communication skills
• Good problem solving skills
• Good MS office skills: Outlook, Magman, Porvs, Electrolux supplier portal
• Good command of English. Chinese language is a strong plus.
