In this Role, you’ll get to
- Provide linguistic expertise to support the development and continued improvement of an LLM which will be used to provide translate (into Thai) content that will be viewed by Trip.com customers and suppliers. Required support includes:
- Selection of translation material to be fed into the LLM to help it learn
- Scoring and commenting on the LLM's translations
- Analysis of "bad case" translations
- Provide linguistic expertise to support the development and continued improvement of an MTQE (machine translation quality estimation) system. Required support includes: Building a database of mid–low quality translations, which the MTQE can learn from , Performing spot-checks on the MTQE's results , Support Trip.com's in-house translators with translation/review tasks if there are periods when the LLM project does not require all of your time.
What you'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree. Major in Linguistics or any related field is a plus.
- At least two years of experience in translation/editing experience
- Strong communications skills in English and Thai
- Strong analytical skills and experience in AI/computer programming Experience in travel industry is a strong plus
