Job Description

Team and Role Introduction:

Managing all tasks related to HSSE and conduct risk analysis to identified effective CA/PA and improvement plans to close the gap, ensuring compliance with HSSE, Workplace Safety Regulations. Working from HSSE, procedures, specifications, site activity-based plans to ensure all operation risks/ hazards and environmental aspect are carried out adhering to standards of safety norms. To review HSSE plan and conduct regular safety audits at site and produce reports. Review any safety/ security concerns in case of any process change, automation installation/ adjustment. To ensures that HSSE compliances from standards procedure are met through the entire execution process.

-Providing Health, Safety and Environment related input to manage day to day operation.

-Provide leadership, guidance and direction concerning all facets of HSSE.

-Monitor and report, through monthly meeting, audits and inspections, on the compliance of the HSSE management system implementation and effectiveness, and make recommendations for improvement where appropriate.

-Be fully conversant with all government and Client health and safety legislations, regulations and guidelines; provide assistance and advice to the operation responsible for HSSE.

-Produce and implement safety plans to maintain legal compliance and incident reduction.

-Assist with the identification of HSSE training needs and induction.

-Produce HSSE performance reports as required. Promptly alert Client functional management of accidents and incidents.

-Review accident and incident report; be involved in the investigation and ensure that the findings are reported, appropriately shared and closed out, and ensure that the findings are reported, appropriately shared and closed out, and ensure that there is appropriate response to prevent future occurrence.

-Ensure HSSE system compliance and conduct periodic review; conduct and assist in regular HSSE reviews and audits.

-Implement and maintain ISO14001&45001 management system ensuring operation activities are fully comply with standard requirements.

Job Requirements

Requirements/Qualifications(must have):

-Bachelor’s degree in OHS or relevant HSSE.

-Possess certification in professional safety certification is preferred.

-Preferably with Logistics background.

-Understand the legislation and regulations for compliance within the particular industry: warehouse/ transport safety.

-Experience to manage ISO14001, ISO45001 and other management system is preferable.

-Good English communication skills (written and verbal).

Requirements/Qualifications(good to have):

-Strong HSSE awareness and commitment.

-Functional management, leadership, and team-building skills.

-Good knowledge in warehouse and transport safety management would be an advantage.

-Good computer skills and proficient in excel, word & power point presentation.

-Strong background in managing people/staff in multiple levels.

-Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

-Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
