Division Manager - Corporate Compliance

Roles & Responsibilities

• Supervise all the business activities and processes that involve compliance and regulations
• Take timely actions to ensure compliance, both with national/local laws and internal policies of the company
• Provide advice and resources to Board members, executives, and employees to facilitate them to comply with internal and external laws, rules and regulations.
• Make reports and documentation on potential compliance risks, as a compliance risk manager
• Plan, set up, develop, revise effective corporate compliance policy and corporate compliance standard to comply to external and internal laws rules and regulations.
• Plan and initiate the best practice to be used by the business operation to follow or perform to ensure that there is no compliance risk to such business activities.
• Establish and conduct proper training programs, so that the employees are aware of the laws and regulations they need to adhere to
• Eliminate and minimize all compliance risk exposure that may occur in business activities or transactions of company and or the group both international and national to prevent, avoid or limit the company or the group ’s liabilities.
• Monitor and control major matters of the company to ensure that proper steps are followed as per corporate compliance law, rules and regulations.
• Supervise matters related to laws, rules and regulation ie. Anti-trust and Competitions and Anti-dumping laws.
• Develop and implement corporate compliance checklist regarding law, rules and regulations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in laws and/or related fields 
• At least 10 years work experiences in Legal, Governance & Compliance, and related fields or Prior experience working as a compliance manager or in a similar position
• Good project management skill and ability to manage several stakeholders (internal / external)
• Proficiency in industry trends, laws, and regulations
• Outstanding analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in risk management or auditing
• Exposure to curating, executing, and monitoring compliance project
