Develop and influence the regulatory strategy for Sherwin-Williams Packaging business: Determine and execute strategies to review and gain approval for Packaging products.
Understand current and proposed regulations and requirements.
Foster relationships with authorities and industries to influence regulations for the benefit of Sherwin-Williams Packaging.
Develop plans to maintain product compliance.
Support day-to-day Regulatory Affairs activities by managing internal contributors and / or third - party vendors and registration agencies to ensure timely project execution according to agreed project strategies and timelines.
Work with cross - functional partners to assure raw materials and coatings formulas meet regulatory requirements.
Identify and implement improvements to Regulatory systems and processes as required.
Develop and deliver training to internal functional groups, and customers as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or above
At least 5 year’s experience in Regulatory Affairs covering Asia region
Preferred 1-2 years experience food contact compliance in Asia region
Results oriented with good attention to detail and problem solving skills.
Preferred Understanding of Asia food contact regulations and submission of petitions for compliance.
