Your Tasks

• Contribute to meet Beiersdorf’s customers demand by ensuring finished good stock is available in reliable, timely and cost-efficient manner. The job owner is responsible for E2E SC configuration and optimization and setting inventory planning parameters, scenario management, escalations to S&OP and management.
• Accountable for ensuring the availability of products and optimizing service levels, inventory, and business waste (Excess stock and leftover). To challenge new product, promotional, baseline and top line forecast information provided by Sales, SCM and Marketing or distributor (for export business) to ensure the quality of particularly longer-term forecast.
• Responsible for a high service level to customers of the affiliated CU and BDF export countries.
• Pro-actively manage related interfaces for best process outcome and business results.
• Report low stock / Long term supply risks and potential OOS (Out of Stock) and OOS related functions with supporting reasons on a weekly basis.
• Monitor excess Stock, aging and obsolete stock and create reports to use for discussions with local demand planner for solid action plans to minimize write-off.
• Steering supply constraints i.e., Bottleneck, Capacity, Freight, etc. with all connected affiliates in ASEAN in accordance with the established priorities and initiating efforts to reduce the OOS (out-of-stock) period. Provide analysis, documentation and communication of all Net sales and Service level losses.
• Plan launches / re-launches ensuring service is maximized while leftovers are kept to a minimum. To communicate availability dates for new products / re-launched products in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintenance of all safety stock relevance master data and safety stock planning for own products.
• Keep the business fully informed of all relevant supply topics and to deliver agreed levels of product availability.
• Communicate concisely and in a timely manner with Supply Chain colleagues including Planers from serviced MUs so that information is received / given out effectively. To communicate clearly and respectfully, being aware of cultural differences.
• Deal with introduced changes in the organization openly.
• Plan a PC/set of lines or 3PM end to end over all supply chain steps on a tactical and operational horizon & create an optimal and feasible production plan.
• Generate a master production schedule which is synced to demand, balanced across correct work centers, and materially supported. The production plan is created for each production resource, including setting up the sequence, planning calendar, improving change-over times, and driving efficiencies.
• Model available capacity vs. demand signals, to effectively balance workloads across the organization while keeping in sync with the changing demand picture.
• Plan overspill assortments in cases of shortage in capacity and execute the plan.
• Ensure correct signals are transmitted back into the system. Reliable reflection of production orders.
• Continuous adjustment of planning parameters and master data at PC (e.g. lot sizes, Product Replenishment Lead Time).
• Align the production plan with the materials planner. Transfer the production plan to the detailed scheduler.

Your Profile

• University degree (minimum M.Sc. or similar) in Economics/Mathematics/Engineering or equal
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience within Planning including Production Planning
• Proven strengths in teamplay within a diverse setting of cultures
• Result-oriented combined with assertiveness & persuasiveness
• Strong skills in relationship building, communication and moderation
• Proven analytical and end to end thinking including commercial thinking
• Good knowledge of SAP R/3, SAP APO, CRP, OMP, Office 365SAP ECC and MS Office
• Experience in FMCG is a plus
• Advanced Microsoft Excel is preferable
• Fluent in English for communication skills spoken and written
