You will support the APAC Senior Vice President, People and Cluster Head in driving and the implementation of strategic, human capital programs for the SEA Cluster that are designed to drive growth, improve culture, performance, and all aspects of the employee life cycle.
Collaborate with senior leadership and business unit heads to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
Serve as a strategic advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management initiatives.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve organizational effectiveness and drive business performance.
Oversee a group of HR Managers to provide clear direction and objectives for the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Guide, motivate, and support team members, foster a positive work environment, and maximize team performance.
Inspire and motivate team members to perform at their best and achieve excellence. Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and dedication.
Collaborate with Regional Centers of Excellence to enhance Recruitment, Compensation, Performance Management, and Onboarding Processes for Optimal HR Operations.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Provide guidance and support to business leaders on HR compliance matters, including employee classification, wage and hour laws, and employment practices.
Conduct audits and assessments to ensure adherence to HR policies and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of HR records and reports.
Manage employee relations matters, investigations. mediating conflicts and maintaining a positive working environment.
Coordinate and administer training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
Participate in compensation and benefits administration, including payroll coordination and benefits enrollment.
Support the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across the region.
Drive HR-related communications and employee engagement activities to foster a strong company culture.
Stay current with HR trends, best practices, and legal developments to ensure the organization's practices remain competitive and compliant.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus.
Along with minimum 10 years' experience in multi-national companies, preferably with greenfield/brownfield start-up experience.
Strong understanding of Southeast Asia labor laws and regulations.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; experience with HR software is advantageous.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
