Pet Food Expert-R&D

Key Responsibilities:

· Responsible for delivery of Global wise projects under Pet food category and subcategory like wet can, wet treat, dry food and treat etc.

· Lead of designing the formulation framework to support the Bnd positioning, claims also enabling product performance, product profit margins, and consumer and pet desired criteria.

· Build up raw material strategies and data base that simplify the current portfolio, optimize cost structure, and allow for flexible formulation and processes.

· Contribute to provide the up-to-date raw material source, recipe, and in-depth understanding of manufacturing process as well as supply chain relevant.

· Responsible for applying pet nutritional needs / internal guidelines, legal legislation and food & people safety considerations to developments.

· Providing training and support to other associates, within the New Product Development and Commercial team in which the job holder has expertise.

· Familiarity with AAFCO and FEDIAF guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Animal Science, Agriculture, Biology.

· Knowledge of Petfood/Feed Industry - technologies and manufacturing processes.

· Preferred 5+ years in formulation design, raw material sourcing, product development, wet food/wet treat experiences preferred.

· Ability to work cross functionally in fast pace by domestic and oversea branch.

· Strong problem solver.
