Operation Excellence Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate strategic & policy development processes to identify opportunities for improvement and productivity.
• Initiate and manage projects to achieve annual targets, driving key actions and follow-ups to ensure SBFT’s operational achievements.
• Lead TPM activity plans and promotional plans with pillar heads, track progress, and resolve issues to ensure TPM excellence awards.
• Promote continuous improvement activities (Kaizen, QC story, and Focused Improvement) to eliminate overall losses and standardize methodologies.
• Facilitate and follow up with production stakeholders to ensure effective solutions and operational targets.
• Coordinate and facilitate SMW assessments as required.
• Communicate key messages or information from management and report performance in SBFT operations (e.g., Town hall meetings, Monozukuri monthly meetings, and Activity boards).
• Strategize and execute organizational learning & development strategies and targeted learning outcomes aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop annual training plans, assess training needs, and manage budgets to deliver effective training content and evaluate its impact.
• Develop sustainable and relevant learning methods, solutions, and activities focusing on skill development for high performance and organizational growth.
• Build and master internal trainer qualification programs to enhance the capability of internal trainers, focusing on curriculum development and training design.

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Science, or related field; MBA is preferable.
• At least 10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Process Manufacturing Improvement, or a similar background in Manufacturing, Supply Management, Production, or Engineering.
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement and Problem-Solving methodologies.
• Systematic approach to problem definition and solving.
• Experience in productivity management systems (e.g., TPM, TQM, 5S, Kaizen) is preferable.
• Good interpersonal skills, result-driven, self-motivated, proactive, with an innovative mindset and strong communication and presentation skills.
