Job Description:
1.Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement the overall merchandising strategy to support the company's business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with other executives to ensure alignment of merchandising strategies with the company's strategic goals.
2.Product Selection and Management:
- Oversee the selection and management of product assortments to ensure they meet customer needs and preferences.
- Work with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure product quality and compliance with company standards.
- Pricing and Inventory Management:
- Develop pricing strategies that maximize profitability while remaining competitive.
- Implement effective inventory management practices to optimize stock levels and reduce excess inventory.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance to make data-driven decisions.
3.Promotional Activities:
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns to drive sales and increase market share.
- Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to ensure effective promotion and communication of products.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of promotional activities and adjust strategies as needed.
4.Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the merchandising team to achieve business objectives.

5.Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the merchandising budget to ensure financial targets are met.

6.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with the marketing, sales, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure cohesive and effective operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 15+ years of experience in merchandising, with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful merchandising strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and market trends.
