Commercial Operations Strategy Warehouse

Job Description

• Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Warehouse Operations teams in supporting the business growth of all fulfillment services (e.g. consignment, retail, Fulfilled by Shopee)
• Assess the impact of business planning on warehouse operations and vice versa, such as ensuring the warehouse has sufficient capacity and inventory levels to meet expected demand, managing right inbound assortments and quantity, minimizing non-selling stocks, and optimizing inventory space etc.
• Establish metrics to be monitored by both Commercial and Operations teams and utilize them to drive continuous improvements
• Identify improvement areas and lead improvement initiatives to achieve both the business goals and optimized warehouse cost efficiency. This includes making business decisions to optimize space utilization, reduce idle inventory, improve SKU efficiency, or improve productivity etc.
• Key KPIs: warehouse capacity utilization, inventory days of coverage, order per SKU, warehouse productivity

Requirements

• 3-5 years of work experience; prior experience in both Commercial and Operations is preferred
• Proactive problem solver: able to identify improvement areas and implement proposed initiatives
• Solid understanding on both commercial thinking and on-the-ground operation; able to connect the dots between the two
• Strong project management skills: able to manage cross-functional projects and ensure alignment between parties
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Good command of English
• Able to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
