Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Prioritization & Strategic Alignment:
- Lead team scrums to define, prioritize, and communicate a clear product vision, roadmap, growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project
2. Proposal Development & Pitching Process:
- Design high-level solution briefs, including customer journeys and service blueprints, to visualize the product experience. Define and articulate a strategic product roadmap to attract customers/ partners
- Co-working with Business Development to develop the compelling business cases, proposals, presentations, and involve in Project Pitching process
3. Product/Project Business Discovery:
- Facilitate and direct design workshops and brainstorming sessions to cultivate a stream of innovative digital product ideas.
- Conduct and oversee concept validation to test and refine product concepts, ensuring they meet user needs and market demand.
- Conduct or support in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
4. Product/Project Technical Discovery:
- Gather business & product requirement from customer and stakeholder
- Define and create Product Solution with overall specification
- Develop first draft of user journey
- Assess Product/ Project risk/ mitigation plan & potential roadblocks to ensure the smoothness of execution
5. Feature Specifications Development:
- Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams
- Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
- Lead product grooming session if necessary
6. Product & Project Monitoring:
- Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
- Working with the product team and end-users to deliver updates and status reports
7. Stakeholders & Cross-Team Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams including developers, designers, and QA to analyze needs and align product roadmap to ensure strategic goals through successful product development and delivery.
8. Product Backlog Management:
- Lead the creation, management, and refinement of a prioritized product backlog, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery of high-quality features.
- Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
9. Product Inquiries and decision making:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and decisions, providing expert guidance and ensuring clear communication across the organization.
10. Product Trends & business knowledge:
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, using insights to inform product strategy and drive continuous improvement.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development, seeking opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in product management.
11. Agile Management:
- Drive the adoption of Agile methodologies and best practices within the product team, ensuring efficient processes and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies in sprint to ensure team performance, collaboration & continuous learning culture
12. Leadership & Team Coaching:
- Mentor and support junior product owners, encourage the culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and customer-centric product development.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product management or related roles
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role, preferably in an innovative and dynamic environment.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to drive informed product decisions. -Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product management.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering exceptional products.
- Ability to work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to use Generative AI as a work tool.
- Desire to contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
It's great if you have:
- Good knowledge in Project Management Body of Knowledge is a plus
- Have a Project Management Professional Certification or Agile Certification is a plus
- Understanding of Modern Software Development such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, etc
- Experience in cutting edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Natural language Processing, Image Analytics, Data Analytics, or Digital Transformation projects is a plus
