Senior EH&S Officer

Key Responsibilities

• Translate the corporate safety policies and objectives into action plans for daily operations
• Coordinate, promote, analyze and monitor safety efforts in office, warehouse and field operations
• Provide consulting and coordinating support to all departments in implementing and continuity of safety programs and projects
• Provide safety education and training programs to all levels of employees and contractors to ensure EH&S compliance
• Ensure the compliance with Thai laws and company’s worldwide safety requirement
• Set up inspection and audit program to supervisors and managers to evaluate job site
• Perform, report and record the safety audits and inspections as scheduled and present the results to the management in timely manner
• Monitor the effectiveness and completion of any corrective actions in fields
• Represent Otis & Sigma and liaise with external associations on the matters related to EH&S issues
• Incident investigation, analysis on the root cause of the incident and control measure
• Report to EH&S Manager relating to safety issues and activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related fields
• Qualified Safety Officer Professional level under the Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Act BE 2554 and/or relevant Ministerial Regulation
• Strong knowledge and experience in Safety, Environmental legal compliance
• Ability to work independently and is also a team player
• Creative, self-motivated and agile
• Problem solving, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Ability to communicate (verbal/ written) in English language is a must
