Procurement Specialist – Thailand Operations, Raw Materials and Collaborative Manufacturing

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier performance evaluation for raw material suppliers and collaborative manufacturers (3Ps) in TH supporting Minburi Ice Cream factory and CMS for TH and MYSG.

• Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies for raw materials with close collaboration with Portfolio Buyers and CM Operations.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals favorable to the company

• Analyze procurement data to identify and implement cost-savings opportunities supporting the business growth and improve procurement processes with suppliers and cross functional teams.

• Monitor supplier performance by maintain strong relationships to ensure consistent supply and quality, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service level agreements.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including Planning, R&D, Production, Quality Assurance and Logistics Teams to ensure raw materials meet operational needs.

• Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, new materials, and innovative raw material solutions.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and sustainability initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement, with a focus on raw materials and/or collaborative manufacturers (3Ps) in the FMCG industry.

• Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in procurement software and tools.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in procurement.
