Logistics & Export Operations Manager

Responsibilities:

• Establish guidelines and strategies for the logistics and export operations
• Design and develop operational work standards (SOP) for the logistics and export department
• Manage overall transportation operations, including document preparation for both domestic and international shipments, coordinating with production planning, warehouse management, pacific logistics, marketing, and customers to ensure accurate, complete, and on-time delivery
• Plan, design, and prepare TOR (Terms of Reference), SQS (Specification & Quality Standard), and SLA by processing data from marketing, for use in quoting or tendering for transportation jobs by road, both domestically and internationally
• Supervise the procurement of transporters/contractors for domestic and international transportation using TOR, SQS, and SLA documents, ensuring transparency and fairness in quoting or tendering processes
• Supervise the preparation of transportation contracts, both domestic and international, to comply with domestic and international transportation laws, including the establishment of customer and transporter databases
• Design and develop a tracking and verification system for Delivery Output to compare with the Delivery Plan.

Qualifications:

• Holder of bachelor degree in logistics management or related field.
• At least ten years of experience in logistics & transportation management, strong knowledge in export operations (ocean freight), and service provider management.
• Strong knowledge of export operations and customs procedure.
• Excellent managerial skill, hands-on, good negotiation skill.
• Good command of English.
