Equity Research

Descriptions :

1. Analyze, forecast, and evaluate information relevant to equity investment securities under responsible coverage - focusing the whole sector, which is then proposed equity investment recommendation reports to support important decisions making for equity investment selection and portfolio implementation in precise and timely manners
2. Monitor, Review and analyze up-to-date information relevant to equity investment securities under responsible coverage - focusing the whole sector, which is also to attend the events and to summarize the key investment highlights that support the decisions making for equity investment selection and portfolio implementation in precise and timely manners. Able to handle more than one sector if needed.
3. Support director to establish systematic preemptive work procedures and systems for error protection to promote efficient and effective functioning and ensure compliance with related regulations or guidelines.
4. Support director to monitor, review and improve equity investment database to support immediate investment selection and decisions making in timely manner as well as quickly responsible to any requests from other department for analyzed information or data.
5. Provide on-the-job training and support team as mentor for equity research analysts on relevant skills and capabilities to sustain efficient and effective team functioning to ensure all assignments meet required standards
6. Take initiative roles to develop ESG database of equity investment securities under responsible coverage and integrate into quantitative scoring, investment recommendation and model portfolio construction.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics and/or related fields is preferable
2. At least 3 years relevant work experience in investment and economics
3. Knowledgeable in investment principles and regulations
4. Knowledgeable in equity valuation and financial statement analysis
5. Knowledgeable in financial modeling and be able to analyze the financial model
6. Experience in sector analysis with basic knowledge for factors driven sector performance
7. Extensive economics, capital market, and investment securities analysis
8. Effective Investment ideas and strategy communication and presentation
9. Computer literate and proficiency in English (writing and speaking)
10. CFA/CISA possession is preferable
