Provides Demand & Distribution Planning for a location, department or designated product line or business area.
Works with assigned business, product and other stakeholders to understand demand requirements, forecasting drivers, revenue metrics and other key factors underpinning demand and distribution planning.
Follows established procedures to develop, update and maintain demand and distribution plans.
Works with suppliers in expediating purchase orders to insure timely delivery of the correct products and to manage processes from an efficiency standpoint.
Maintains records of delivery, distribution, utilization and other activities, preparing monthly and other periodic progress reports.
Researches and resolves delivery, invoicing and other discrepancies.
Confirms documentation follows internal standards and business controls, meets management expectations and conforms to regulatory requirements.
Supports departmental goals for expense management, high service levels and excess inventory reduction.
Qualifications
Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Demand and Distribution Planning.
Good business English skills (Written and spoken).
Experience with spare part inventory planning for customer service is preferred.
