Advanced Test Engineer (Wealth & Data Analytics) - Mid-Senior Level

Job Description

• Be the key person to drive software quality through test management strategy by involving from test scenarios and approach design, ensuring testing quality, researching new testing technology, and work together with application delivery team.
• Design and develop test approach, master test plan, end-to-end test scenario and test coverage metrics for low-medium complexity project based on business requirement and system impact
• Lead and supervise juniors for test execution
• Ensure testing quality and proper defect management and follow up defect status
• Provide test design and implementation to support the implementation of automation in own accountable area
• Support juniors on modifying test automation script to comply with the requirements
• Execute test and log defect with necessary information, retest defect raised and report to supervisor
• Modify and edit test automation script to comply with the requirements
• Research and develop new testing technology that can be adopted by other teams
• Work with application delivery team to ensure quality of deliverables covering test management and test automation which focusing on SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Test)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 5-10 years’ experience in Software Testing with self-organizing skill.
• Good Understanding of software development with focus on software testing processes and methodologies (standard waterfall and agile).
• Good logic and Experiences in Automated testing with ability to drive and design for automation.
• Good knowledge on Database with SQL and Scripting is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills with ability to work in multi-cultural team with people from various backgrounds.
• Strong passion and desire to move forward and lift up own skills under a challenging environment.
