KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Instruction and Delivery:
- Act as primary instructor for technical trainings, both in-person and online. Conduct engaging and interactive training sessions for diverse audiences, adapting teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Utilize various instructional techniques, including demonstrations, workshops, and presentations, to enhance the learning experience.
Subject Matter Expertise:
- Maintain a high level of expertise in relevant technical domains to effectively answer questions, provide guidance, and address challenges during training sessions.
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to enhance training content and ensure accuracy.
- To be responsible for and maintain the AutoStore Academy technical training facility.
Assessment and Feedback:
- Develop and administer assessments to measure participants' understanding and retention of course material.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to learners to facilitate continuous improvement.
Technology Integration:
- Stay informed about the latest instructional technologies and tools to enhance the delivery and effectiveness of training programs.
- Integrate multimedia and other interactive elements into training materials to create engaging learning experiences.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including instructional designers, content developers, and other stakeholders, to ensure the seamless delivery of training programs.
Curriculum Development:
- May be required to design and develop comprehensive, hands-on training materials and curriculum for technical courses.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant.
- Have good knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering) or equivalent work experience.
- Experience as a Technical Instructor or a similar role in a corporate or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in relevant technical areas.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Good Thai communication and presentation skills (or strong will to learn)
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and ability to adapt instructional methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Experience working with a global or distributed team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, and with a good sense of humor.
- Periodic travel required for this position, including during the onboarding period (domestic and international).
- Comfortable speaking in front of a group of people from different countries.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / Skills:
- Industry certifications related to the technical subject matter.
- Previous experience in designing and delivering virtual training sessions.
- Experience with curriculum development.
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate).
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
- Experience in assessing training effectiveness and making continuous improvements.
