Job description 

TISCO Financial Group is seeking a Data Analytics Officer responsible for leading the data analytics function of an organization and driving the use of data analytics to support business goals. This role involves analyzing large datasets to uncover insights into customer behavior and market trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams, communicating insights and recommendations to stakeholders, and developing and implementing data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong background in data analytics, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. 

 

Responsibilities for a Data Analytics Officer: 

  • Develop and implement data analytics strategies and solutions to support the business goals of TISCO Financial Group. 
  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets using statistical methods and data visualization tools. 
  • Identify trends, patterns, and insights in data and translate them into actionable recommendations for business improvement. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data analytics solutions align with business needs. 
  • Communicate data insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management. 
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data analytics techniques and technologies to improve data analysis capabilities. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing models to ensure their effectiveness and relevance in the ever-changing market environment 

 

Qualifications for a Data Analytics Officer: 

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or engineering. 
  • Proven experience in data analytics, including experience with programming languages such as Python or R, and data analysis tools such as Excel, Tableau, or PowerBI. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work with large amounts of data and extract meaningful insights. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data analysis to non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and comfortable collaborating with others to find solutions to complex problems. 
  • Adaptability and ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly. 
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and completeness in data analysis. 
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box to generate new ideas to solve complex problems.
