Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Solution Design
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical security solutions.
- Create detailed solution designs, prioritizing architecture principles, scalability, security, and performance
2. Technology Evaluation
- Stay updated with emerging security technologies, industry trends, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies and tools that enhance the effectiveness of security solutions.
3. Technical Leadership
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that technical security designs align with established architecture standards and best practices.
4. Integration and Compatibility
- Ensure seamless integration of security solutions with existing systems and applications.
- Verify compatibility of proposed security solutions with hardware, software, and network environments.
5. Security and Compliance
- Incorporate robust security architectures into solution designs, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and other relevant cybersecurity requirements.
6. Documentation and Communication
- Document technical security designs, architecture decisions, and implementation guidelines.
- Communicate security solution designs effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
7. Quality Assurance
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and validate solution functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise during implementation.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in solution architecture and cybersecurity.
Experience/Skills:
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in solution architecture and design, with a focus on security.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering complex security solutions.
• Strong understanding of security architecture principles, cybersecurity frameworks, and best practices
• Expertise in designing robust security architectures for digital environments.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
• Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment methodologies.
• Experience with azure platform (Entra, Defender & Sentinel) & technologies such as firewalls & IDS/IPS.
• Familiarity with compliance regulations and data protection law
