Senior Technical Project Manager

Role & Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Management:

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
• Manage project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.

Team Coordination:

• Coordinate and lead cross-functional project teams, including software developers, designers, QA engineers and customer support.
• Assign and manage project tasks, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure project success.

Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks and issues.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure their needs and requirements are met.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.

Technical Oversight:

• Ensure technical feasibility and alignment with company architecture and standards.
• Collaborate with technical leads to identify and resolve technical issues and challenges.
• Review and approve technical documentation and specifications.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and oversee quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
• Conduct project reviews and post-implementation evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure that all project documentation is complete, accurate and up-to-date.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen issues and challenges.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets and performance reports.
• Ensure all project documentation is stored and managed in accordance with company policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or similar project management certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software development projects.
• Experience in the hospitality industry or SaaS environment is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Trello.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in English.
