Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the single point of contact for the BU Lead on HR-related matters.
- Cascade BU requirements and policies to local HR teams for effective implementation.
- Drive organizational performance through strategic HR initiatives, including talent management, organizational development, and workforce planning.
- Ensure comprehensive HR service delivery and data integrity throughout the employee life cycle.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Strategic Perspective:
- Maintain a comprehensive view of the business, identifying interconnections between activities and their potential impact. Provide advice and manage individual and team issues, driving the change agenda.
- Lead the BU’s HR strategy, including financial and non-financial targets (e.g., Diversity & Inclusion), ensuring accountability with business leaders.
- Collaborate with BU leaders to identify and fulfill strategic workforce needs.
2. Talent Acquisition & Deployment:
- Lead strategic workforce planning, aligning labor needs with business goals, and collaborate with hiring managers to ensure effective talent acquisition.
- Oversee the hiring and offer processes, ensuring they align with the BU's business needs.
- Partner with Shared Services on non-executive hiring.
3. Talent Management & Process Support:
- Lead performance management and succession planning, identifying critical roles and high-potential employees.
- Oversee talent movement to ensure alignment with professional development and business needs.
- Support managers in making objective, fair talent decisions, in line with Thai Union's talent management processes.
4. HR Solutions Implementation:
- Use organizational insights to identify challenges and opportunities, delivering solutions that address issues while fostering long-term business partnerships.
5. Internal Communication:
- Coordinate and deliver internal engagement communication strategies to maintain consistency and transparency across the organization.
6. Learning & Development:
- Guide managers in identifying learning needs and skill gaps, recommending suitable learning interventions.
- Collaborate with Shared Services to assess training needs and design effective training programs in partnership with BU line managers.
7. Organizational Effectiveness & Analytics:
- Support managers and the HRBP team in improving organizational effectiveness through data-driven insights and analysis.
8. Employee Relations (ER) & Employee Engagement:
- Communicate ER policies across the organization, working with the HRBP team to minimize ER/IR risks.
- Support the resolution of employee relations cases and collaborate with Shared Services to manage grievances.
- Foster positive relationships between management and employee representatives.
- Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement, working with BU leadership to design engagement programs.
9. Reward & Performance Management:
- Advise managers on performance management and reward strategies, ensuring alignment with employee engagement and retention goals.
- Co-develop BU-specific reward initiatives with the Rewards CoE and oversee compensation decisions.
- Contribute to external benchmarking, ensuring competitive rewards and benefits.
10. HR Shared Services Collaboration:
- Partner with HR Shared Services to ensure timely and effective HR service delivery. Monitor service quality and performance.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of HR operational processes to enhance the employee experience.
11. HR Policy & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with Thai Union’s HR policies, processes, and local labor laws for all employees.
- Collaborate with the social audit team to address external audits, align internal HR processes, and ensure compliance with social performance standards across the BU.
12. Data & Reporting:
- Deliver accurate, actionable data and reports to support decision-making, benefiting HR and expertise teams.
13. Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure HR initiatives align with broader business objectives and maintain consistency across Thai Union.
Desired candidate profiles/competencies:
- University Graduate.
- Good in English skills.
- Hands-on experience in leading and developing HR strategies, organizationa design and development, performance and rewards, building talent pipeline, change management, employee relations and learning capabilities & development.
- Able to work on-site at the Samutsakhon plant, Monday to Friday (our office is located 6 km. away from Central Mahachai).
