Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Post all AP transactions to journals, ledgers, and other records
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Maintain vendor data
• Performs clerical accounting duties within a broad scope under little supervision
• Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries of all operational activities
• Review of AR entries posted by Operations and AR overdue follow up
• Monthly Book Closure within WD+8
• Monthly submission of MIS Reporting to Management
• Cash flow forecast
• Support CPA with audit queries

Qualifications

• B. Com, M. Com, MBA(Finance), CA (Inter) or higher
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general accounting preferably within Logistics industry
• Possess strong verbal and written communication in English
• Attention to details and accuracy
• Independent and problem solver
• Advance level knowledge in Microsoft Excel versions such as Vlookup, Hlookup, Pivot, Chart, Power Query, etc. is highly preferred
• Knowledge of Cargowise CW1 is an added advantage
