Define the product portfolio and deployment program that supports the regional growth agenda.
Co-develop the supply strategy for the Dry ad C&T portfolio
Integrate new capabilities from the global technology programs (Applied science and R&D global innovation teams)
Ensure product portfolio remains consumer and customer focused and utilizes market insights to sustain the product lifecycle.
Accountable for development & implementation of the Dry and C&T product innovation pipeline plus the ongoing maintenance and continuous improvement of the existing portfolios for Dry and C&T portfolio manufactured at factories in Asia sub-region. Within all projects in their portfolios, the jobholder is accountable for delivering a high quality technical solution, which integrates all aspects of the consumer execution (product, pack, process).
Accountable for the ownership of the total Dry and C&T portfolio manufactured in factories in SEA and to ensure the portfolio meets the internal & external standards for nutrition, efficacy, palatability and recipe cost compliance. Ensure appropriate global tools (Design to Value/Fit for purpose design) are deployed as needed in the portfolio
Owner of all Dry and C&T product specifications and recipes manufactured at factories in Asia sub-region.
Accountable for developing and managing the knowledge to deliver superior Dry and C&T pet food, with regards recipes and impact of processing technology; and managing and building our IP on Dry and C&T product development. Identify opportunities to benchmark externally, drive internal standards and influence the future R&D Dry and C&T global innovation program.
Responsible to provide wet product and technology inputs for CAB and capacity improvement projects in Asia Sub-region, including new factory development, for Dry and C&T portfolio.
Accountable for defining robust product design that meet consumers need and ensure excellence in implementation of FS road map in all Dry portfolio in Asia Pacific.
Lead R&D Asia representative for interaction & collaboration with the Global Innovation Centre and Innovation Programs lead on behalf of the Globe.
In the supply operation meeting in PCH, represent Regional Development Team as a single point of contact across technologies to share SEA R&D point of views for various development activities.
Team Leadership
Responsible for the performance and results of Technical Leadership (T1-T3) team. Practice line management excellence including team engagement responsibilities and determining reward outcomes; sets individual business and development goals and coaches associates to achieve high level performance.
Accountable for Succession planning, Recruitment retention and development of high caliber associates.
Provide critical inputs to R&D directors for future organization design and transition plans.

Job Specifications/Qualifications
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
10 to 15 years’ extensive experience in consumer driven product development and business environment including at least 3 years R&D. This must include minimum 3 years line management experience and a proven record in people leadership and/or strategy development.
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Veterinary Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
Experienced in consumer driven product development, manufacturing processes, raw material functionality and pet nutrition.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Familiarity with the SEA market and its unique business needs and challenges.
