Job Description
Your scope of work will include the following:
- Prepare conceptual design and sizing for Hybrid power systems; including various technologies such as Battery Energy Storage systems (BESS), solar, wind and traditional gas, diesel or biomass power plants
- Conduct Feasibility study and technical due diligence for Renewable Energy (RE) and hybrid projects under development and projects in operation.
- Prepare technical due diligence for potential acquisition or financing RE and hybrid power projects.
- Prepare energy yield analysis for hybrid systems
- Assist Clients with EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, and renewable power project development in general
- Act as lenders engineer in RE and hybrid projects, doing construction monitoring and operations monitoring.
- Assist in business development and proposal preparation.
Qualifications
- Higher professional degree in electrical or other relevant engineering field including RE and hybrid systems (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
- Minimum 3 years of working experience RE and hybrid power systems.
- Knowledge in working on hybrid system (RE+BESS, Micro Grids) sizing and optimization using conceptual principles and software tools such as HOMER, Rated Power, SAM, iHOGA/MHOGA, RETScreen, etc.
- Technical know-how of Power Systems, Power management, Battery technologies (Primary and Secondary Batteries) and other components of Battery Energy Storage systems (BMS, EMS, Protection, BoS).
- Understanding on Power system software tools such as ETAP, DigSilent, etc. is an advantage
- Fluent in English (any other additional language competency is welcomed)
