Your responsibilities will include:
- Building strong relationships and partnering with the leadership team (i.e. Finance and Country Directors) to develop, drive and implement effective HR initiatives and practices that are aligned with the company’s goals and policies.
- Understanding the personnel requirements of each local market to aid the Country Head in developing talent plans that will take the local team to the next level, and ensure they are aligned with the strategic Regional talent agenda and HR initiatives.
- Ensure that the HR practices in each Local Country comply with their local current regulations, accepted professional standards, best-in-class policies and procedures, and current legislation.
- Provide overall leadership, guidance, and coaching for the local HR team to deliver high-quality and timely HR advice to all employees and stakeholders.
- Owning the recruitment process including sourcing ‘best-of’ candidates, interviewing,
contracts, onboarding etc.,
- Managing ongoing employee development, retention, and internal placements.
- Managing performance evaluation review program to ensure effectiveness and
compliance within the organisation.
What you bring to the team:
- 5+ years leading a multiple market HR Function for startups or tech companies
- Passionate about people and culture
- Experience in all elements of recruitment including search, interview procedures, on-boarding, off-boarding and contract management.
- Knowledge of local labour laws such as in Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia a strong plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in effectively collaborating with and guiding an HR team, alongside establishing strong partnerships with regional HR entities.
- Skilled and experienced in change management; experience with leveraging HR softwares and technology.
- Possessing robust analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively shape outcomes and drive decision-making.
- A strong sense of accountability and a people-focused mindset, dedicated to delivering effective HR services that prioritise people's needs.
- Outstanding communication abilities, encompassing the skill to effectively deliver key messages to diverse audiences.
- Legal Permission to work in Thailand required.
