Regional Compensation & Benefits Manager
Key Expected Achievements
This position is responsible to lay out the direction in each area of the full spectrum of compensation and benefits (C&B) as follows:
Personnel Costs Budgeting (MDF013)
Responsible to lead the Annual Personnel Cost Budgeting process, also known as MDF for the region. Ensure that the personnel costs of all the entities in the countries in scope are carefully scrutinized and any evolution in the unit costs and total costs are justified. Also to guarantee that the non-negotiable components in scope are fulfilled, so as to assure the commitment of Group to take care of the employees.
Personnel Costs Monitoring And Reconciliation
In compliance with Personnel Cost Monitoring, to conduct periodic remuneration data reconciliation with the prior commitment submitted to region Finance. To check and identify any significant gap and work with entities to justify the differences. Ensure the quarterly reforecasts and Monthly Average Costs (MAC) are collated and submitted to the relevant departments by the stipulated due dates.
Compensation
Manage the design, implementation, administration, communication, and ongoing evaluation of the organization’s compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Ensure smooth implementation of compensation processes across the region, including compensation benchmarking, annual bonus benchmarking & payout auditing, merit process, and supporting job evaluation & grading.
Benefits
Lead the development of Michelin’s universal benefits such as but not limited to, guaranteeing the Living Wage and Michelin One Care Program (MOCP) deployment in all the entities across the E2A region. Benchmarking each country to the market and supporting each country to introduce the differentiating benefits to attract and retain talents; while ensuring the benefits offering is competitive, relevant for team members, and supports the company’s DEI vision.
Rewards And Recognition
Implement and localize the Rewards and Recognition (R&R) pillar which is part of the People In Motion (PIM) program, that includes Performance based Merit and Performance Awards. Ensure the program is communicated to all the entities and the specificities are made clear so that the fairness is guaranteed to all the employees.
Compensation And Benefits Communication
Improve the Compensation & Benefits understandings of the employees through the communication approach in line with evolving Michelin Group Direction. Deploy the communication to ensure the overall engagement with the Company.
Reporting
Ensure timely reporting of monthly average costs, after analysis of the reasonableness of the numbers, various budgets such as performance award, tracking of sales force bonus and ad-hoc requirements such as merit campaign tracking, or as needed by management.
Acquisition And Integration
Engage with acquired companies to check on the progress of integration and track the roadmap of integration. Work with the personnel from the acquired companies to ensure the topics are discussed, planned, executed and completed within the stipulated timeframe, in particular the non-negotiable components, and the checklist.
