Manage the engineering part of process innovation projects in the Process Innovation Laboratory as well as engineering support of the transfer of the new products to the production scale.
Planning, design, purchase, assembling and commissioning of experimental equipment required for execution of specific experimental projects at laboratory and pilot scale.
Responsible for engineering assessment and preparation of introduction of new products and processes in manufacturing practice.
Introduction of in-line analytical process control methods in manufacturing practice.
Search for improvement opportunities in the manufacturing processes, support of Manufacturing in process design, process and assets optimization as well as in process analysis, troubleshooting and specific product transfers.
Prepare and engineer support for execution of capital projects in AP region (e. g. in project scoping, design, cost estimations, commissioning, start-up, troubleshooting, etc.)
Provide engineering support of evaluation of safety-related aspects of the projects (e. g. Process Hazard Assessments) and implementation of new in-line analytical process control methods in manufacturing practice.
Provide expertise to the operations team in mathematical calculations and modelling of processes and unit operations (distillation, extraction, heat exchange etc.) using process simulation Software (ChemCAD, MS Excel etc.)
Search for improvement opportunities in the manufacturing processes with focus on safety, sustainability, cost, capacity, and productivity optimization and energy footprint of production processes.
Consulting and guidance of internal customers.
Engineering knowledge and best practice exchange.
Maintaining contacts and information exchange with external companies (e. g. equipment manufacturer).
Preparation of project documentation and reports (in English).
Required Skills And Experience
Fresh graduates with good knowledge of chemical engineering are welcomed to apply.
Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD tools, and data analysis techniques.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated skills in design of pilot and lab installations.
Knowledge of unit operations applied for resins manufacturing, e. g. distillation, extraction, filtration etc.
Good command in English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in managing projects, meeting deadlines, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
A proactive and creative thinker who can develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Qualifications
Master Degree in Chemical Engineering or Engineering field with majoring in chemical process engineering or chemical process design.
