Project Development Engineer
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Coordinate project activities and facilitate communication to ensure team alignment and goal clarity.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, meeting notes, and updates.
Act as a liaison between internal teams, contractors, and other external stakeholders.
Organize and participate in project meetings, providing regular updates and addressing issues as needed.
Assist with regulatory permitting processes and ensure compliance with environmental and legal requirements.
Monitor project progress against schedule and budget, identifying risks and reporting on key milestones.
Support the development and tracking of performance metrics to evaluate project outcomes.
Coordinate commissioning activities and assist in the transition from project completion to operations.
Work with operations teams to ensure a smooth handover and proper system functionality during early operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in the renewable energy or waste management sectors.
Familiarity with waste-to-energy technologies and processes is an advantage.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working with diverse stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to waste management and energy production is a plus
