Oversee and manage the assembly process for the trim and chassis components of vehicles.
Lead a team of engineers and technicians to develop and implement assembly strategies, optimize production workflows, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.
Set up and/or adjust manufacturing processes and assist the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous process improvements.
Assembly Planning: Develop and implement plans for the assembly process, considering factors such as efficiency, quality, and safety. This involves creating detailed schedules, allocating resources, and coordinating with other departments.
Quality Control: Ensure that the assembly process meets the highest quality standards. This includes implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and addressing any issues that may affect the final product's quality.
Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve assembly processes. This involves identifying areas for optimization, implementing changes, and utilizing lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
Collaboration: Work closely with design engineers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure that assembly processes align with design specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address design or manufacturing issues.
Troubleshooting: Identify and address any issues that arise during the assembly process. This includes resolving technical problems, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring minimal disruption to production.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in vehicle assembly operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisor or chief leader role.
Interest with work passion in automotive industry, eager to learn, systematic thinking
Demonstrated superior communication (written and verbal), teamwork, and organizational skills
Good skill in AutoCAD, Solid Work
Good skills in English communication and writing (TOEIC 550 up)
