Process Engineer - Die

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development:
• Lead the design and development of new extrusion dies for rubber products.
• Use CAD software to create detailed designs and specifications.
• Conduct simulations and tests to ensure die performance and product quality.
• Production Management:
• Oversee the manufacturing process of extrusion dies, ensuring they meet design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians involved in die production.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely and efficient production schedules.
• Quality Assurance:
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure dies meet company and industry standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests of dies and final products.
• Address and resolve any quality issues or defects promptly.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for extrusion dies to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with dies during the production process.
• Work with maintenance teams to perform repairs and modifications as needed.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding die specifications and performance.
• Provide technical support and training to team members and other departments.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in die design and manufacturing technology.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Lead or participate in projects aimed at reducing costs and improving productivity.

Qualification

• Graduated Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Engineering (Tool & Die, Mechanical, Production, etc.)
• Experience at least 2 years in the field of process engineer or quality control
• Preferable skills: Leadership, Problem-solving, Analytical, Communication, Digitalization
• Native speaker of Thai with good English communication
