Key Responsibilities:

• Team Supervision and Development:
• Supervise and manage production staff, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality output.
• Train new and existing employees on production processes, safety protocols, and equipment usage.
• Evaluate staff performance regularly, providing feedback and guidance to support professional growth.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and high morale.
• Production Management:
• Oversee CNC machine operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Implement and manage training programs to improve team skills and production efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with production schedules and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and quality requirements.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Utilize continuous improvement methodologies such as TPS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TQM, and 6S to enhance production processes.
• Drive initiatives for process optimization, waste reduction, and quality enhancement.
• Training and Development:
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and performance.
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements to provide relevant training.
• Quality and Compliance:
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures, including ISO/TS IATF 16949, ISO9000, and ISO 14001.
• Monitor and evaluate production quality, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• ERP and Production Scheduling:
• Utilize ERP systems and production scheduling software, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, to manage and optimize production operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely production scheduling to meet customer demands and operational goals.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Maintain excellent communication with team members, other departments, and management.
• Present progress reports, project updates, and performance metrics to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years in production management or scheduling within a CNC machine shop, preferably in the automotive industry.
• At least 2-5 years of management experience, with automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, and quality management.
• Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies (TPS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, TQM, 6S).
• Experience with ERP systems or production scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central).
• Excellent leadership, team management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with quality systems (ISO/TS IATF 16949, ISO9000, ISO 14001) and audit experience is a plus.
• Good command of computer literacy, including MS Office tools (Excel, Teams).
• Experience with automation components and machines.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software is advantageous.
• Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken).
