About the job
Manage and oversee manufacturing activities to ensure that production output, quality, cycle time and cost meet the business plan. In your new role you will:
- Identify "bottleneck" equipment/area and discuss/analyze the problem in the relevant department.
- Responsible for investigating ways to reduce scrap, non-conformity, and manpower ineffectiveness.
- Accountable for managing manpower to meet the department’s KPIs.
- Responsible for clarifying and communicating management directions.
- Initiate and lead productivity and cost savings projects contributing to the KPI of the company.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering course
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience as a Senior Engineer or Production Engineer.
- Excellent knowledge of Production Management (FIFO, LIFO, Kanban, and Lean Manufacturing Concepts) and clean room environment/protocols.
- The ability to manage a workforce size of 180–250 operators, technicians, and supervisors.
- Proficient in Tableau and Python.
- Knowledge of Business Objects is an added advantage.
- Good command of English (Speak, Read, Write).
